1. Scope of the Service
CareChain is a blockchain-enabled fundraising and assistance platform. The website allows users to connect a wallet, review published causes, submit assistance requests, donate USDT to project contracts, and review project-related information that may be stored on IPFS or reflected on-chain.
By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not connect a wallet, submit information, or use the service.
2. Eligibility and User Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of CareChain is lawful in your jurisdiction and that you have authority to act for yourself or for any person whose information you submit. You agree not to use the service for fraud, sanctions evasion, money laundering, abusive conduct, or any unlawful fundraising activity.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of wallet addresses, project details, donation amounts, supporting documentation, and other information you provide through the platform.
3. Wallets, Keys, and Network Access
CareChain does not custody private keys, seed phrases, or wallets. Wallet connection and signing are performed by third-party wallet software selected by the user. You are solely responsible for wallet security, signing decisions, gas fees, token approvals, and maintaining access to your wallet.
If your wallet provider, RPC provider, browser extension, or device fails, CareChain may be unable to help recover access or reverse the consequences of signed transactions.
4. Smart Contract Mechanics
The CareChain dApp presently relies on a wrapper contract and project contracts deployed for Ethereum-compatible execution. The wrapper contract maintains a liaison address, records project addresses, can remove project addresses from its registry, and can transfer liaison authority to a new address. New projects are created through the wrapper using the then-current liaison address and the wallet address that initiates project creation as the donee.
The project contract accepts USDT, enforces a minimum funding goal of 20 USDT, limits donations so the funding goal cannot be exceeded, and marks the project as completed when the funding goal is reached. Donation transactions may transfer an additional appreciation amount to the liaison. Only the donee may withdraw funds, and each withdrawal requires a unique expense document string that has not been used previously.
On-chain smart contract behavior controls settlement. If website text, off-chain summaries, or user expectations differ from actual contract execution, the contract state and the signed transaction govern the result.
5. Donations, Withdrawals, and Finality
All donations are voluntary. You understand that blockchain transactions are typically final and that CareChain does not promise chargebacks, reversals, refunds, or recovery of mistakenly sent assets. You are responsible for reviewing the donee, project context, token amount, and network before signing.
CareChain does not guarantee that a donee will achieve a stated outcome, spend funds in a way you prefer, or continue to operate a project. Withdrawal records are limited by the project contract rules and the information published by participants.
6. Public Metadata and Content Submission
Application content, project metadata, wallet addresses, transaction data, and supporting documents may be stored on IPFS, referenced by content hash, and associated with public blockchain activity. Information submitted for publication may become publicly accessible, difficult to modify, and impossible for CareChain to fully delete from decentralized systems.
You must not submit content that violates the rights of others, includes unlawful material, or contains personal data you are not authorized to disclose.
7. No Financial, Legal, or Medical Advice
CareChain provides software and publishing infrastructure. It does not provide investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, fiduciary services, escrow services, medical advice, or guarantees about recipients, projects, or outcomes.
8. Risks and Disclaimers
Blockchain usage involves technical, operational, and market risks, including wallet compromise, smart contract vulnerabilities, chain reorganization, token volatility, front-end outages, data persistence on decentralized storage, and regulatory uncertainty. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
CareChain does not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every wallet, browser, device, or network condition.
9. Suspension, Changes, and Termination
CareChain may update the interface, supported workflows, or access conditions at any time. We may limit or suspend access to the website or certain features if reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
